About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mahe was established during the academic year 2008-’09 (on 1-03-2008) in a civil sector. The school started functioning on 09-07-08 with I to V Classes in one section each. At present the school is functioning in a temporary rented buildingwith classes up to VIII, and the total strength is 394. The junior laboratory started functioning during the academic year 2010-11, and there is no play ground at present. The sponsoring agency has earmarked 04 acres of land to KVS to establish the new KV. The acquisition of the same is under progress.
